consecutive numbers with units

Hi!
When two values with the same unit are presented consecutively, does the unit have to be repeated as well, or it is assumed that it is the same?
For example:

  • Purities reached higher values (75 and 83 %, respectively).
  • Purities reached higher values (75 % and 83 %, respectively).

Which one is correct?
Thanks!
Anna
