Grammatical gender endpoint?

edited April 2019 in Translation

I am working on a project where I must extract the gender of various common nouns across multiple languages that assign grammatical gender (e.g. French, Italian, Spanish). I didn't see a gender attribute (masculine, feminine, neuter) in the API translation endpoint. Did I miss something? If it's not there today, can it be added?

This is for a research study concerned with exploring the correlation between grammatical gender assignment and societal gender equality, which is a really hot research topic right now. The addition of this endpoint would aid the work of many groups. Thanks!
