Using an Oxford Dictionary definition in a novel

I'd like to use one - or two - of your definitions in my upcoming novel. My question is if I can do that and if so then how?
For example like at the beginning of Pulp Fiction movie, I'd simply copy-paste the article as it is.
Do I need to put the source to the footnote or do I need a written permission?
