NEWBIE looking for info, help and tutorial on how to create a very simple HTML dictionary query

Hi,
searching for a few pointers on where to start or simple examples of how to code a basic dictionary query and display the results.

basically a beginners HTML coding guide to making a dictionary query.

    Hi @Askanthea

    You might want to post your question on our Oxford Dictionaries API forum, which is a community for users of our dictionaries API. There you will reach an audience of developers and have better chances to get useful replies to your question.

    By the way, using the Oxford Dictionaries API is free for up to 3,000 calls per month.
    There is a documentation area where you can sample all the types of results which you can get using the API.
    However, you should be aware that stand-alone dictionary lookup services created with the API are usually not allowed, but if you are making something with greater or different functionality then it could be a good resource for you.

    You should be able to login on the API forum with the same details that you use here , but if you have any problem, let me know.
