Does frequency number (LexiStats) take into account capitalized forms?

I'm aware that the frequency numbers from LexiStats returns appearances in the monitor corpus, and this is case-specific in general. If I search "March" vs "march" I'm getting different counts that represent the different word forms. My question is, if there is a sentence in the corpus that begins "Sometimes I would..." etc, does that get counted as an appearance of the word "sometimes", or does it count only as an appearance of "Sometimes"? I was hoping maybe at the beginning of sentences at least capitalizations would have been ignored. Otherwise, words that often occur at the start of sentences would have their true frequency underrepresented, no?
