Oxford Dictionaries API v2.5 is now live!

Hello all!
We are delighted to announce that the Oxford Dictionaries API v2.5 is now live!
With this new release, many new language datasets have been included:
- French monolingual
- English – Hausa
- English – Hindi
- English – Farsi
- English – Georgian
In addition to these 5 new languages datasets we are also launching a new endpoint:
The Search Thesaurus endpoint was developed with users who wish to query possible headword matches within the Thesaurus in mind, and offers similar functionality to the Search and Search Translations endpoints for thesaurus data.
You will also see that the Oxford Dictionaries API v2.5 includes bug fixes and performance improvements to enhance your experience.

So happy to see Hausa included in this update. Please help me try it out. I'm currently getting a 403 authentication error on here. Also is there a Hausa frontend like with German here: https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/us/translate/schulwoerterbuch_English-German/car ?
Hello @HausaDictionary
We have checked your account and you are still registered in a old plan that was changed with the API v2 last year. It is necessary that users with an API v1 account migrate to API v2. To make your migration process easy we have created a Migration Guide to give you further information about API v2 key changes and the steps you will need to take.
I am afraid you will only be able to retrieve translations with the Hausa language dataset. Please visit the Supported Languages page to see what endpoints can be used in each language that we offer. I have checked with my colleagues from the API team and I will let you know their response as soon as I have it. Please bear with me.
Hello @HausaDictionary
Regarding your last question, seems that you're looking for an online dictionary. We don't have Hausa online dictionary available.
Hi @TaisFukushima,
I think that your last update broke the API.
For example, even this page only gives authentication errors now: https://developer.oxforddictionaries.com/documentation/#!/Entries/get_entries_source_lang_word_id
The same calls that were working a few days ago are now broken.
Cheers,
Pluk
Oh, my bad, I see that 2.5 has been online for about 2 weeks now, so it can't be this change.
Regardless though, the API does seem to be down right now, including the examples in the swagger page.
Hi @pluuk
Apologies for the late reply - are you still experiencing that problem?
Let me know if it's not yet back online, please.
I'll get in touch with the development team.
(And apologies for the inconvenience!)
Hi @pluuk
My colleagues in the technical team can't seem to replicate the problem, and the API seems to be working normally?
Could it be that your account is no longer active for some reason? Or that you were trying to access features not available to your plan?
Let me know, please and we can go on investigating what is wrong.
@M1234
I see you 'voted up' the comment above, are you experiencing any problems as well?
