[v2] Formatting issues in 'domains'

shahoodshahood Member ✭✭

Hi @AmosDuveen

In v2, the values in text field in domains sometimes has an underscore instead of a space like Civil_Engineering. It makes sense in id but not in text.

Hope u agree and arrange to fix it!

Thanks!

    Hi @shahood,

    Can you please provide an example so that I can try to replicate the issue my end?

    Hi @AmosDuveen

    Please have a look at the first sense of the word 'bridge' as an example.

    Hi @AmosDuveen

    Please have a look at the first sense of the word 'bridge' as an example. Relevant portion is pasted below:

    "senses":[
       {
        "definitions":[
          "a structure carrying a road, path, railway, etc. across a river, road, or other obstacle"
       ],
       "domains":[
          {
           "id":"civil_engineering",
           "text":"Civil_Engineering"
           }
        ],

    Hi @AmosDuveen

    There is another case although not specifically related to formatting.
    Pl check the definition of Acol. Here the domain Bridge is appearing twice without any good reason:

    "domains": [
                        {
                          "id": "bridge",
                          "text": "Bridge"
                        },
                        {
                          "id": "bridge",
                          "text": "Bridge"
                        }
                      ],

    Pl follow up to get it fixed too.

    Thanks!

    Hi @AmosDuveen

    'Allotropy' is another such case where the domain 'Chemistry' appears twice for no good reason:

    "domains": [ { "id": "chemistry", "text": "Chemistry" }, { "id": "chemistry", "text": "Chemistry" } ],

    Hi @TaisFukushima

    These issues have not been fixed in v2.1
